23 June 2009 - Teesdale Way Yarm - Middleton One Row

The Tees runs right behind my cottage in Yarm, about 15 km upstream from its mouth in Middlesbrough. The Teesdale Way follows the river all the way from Stockton to the source in the Yorkshire Dales. I still hadn't explored the river upstream from Yarm so decided this was a good walk for after work. I parked the car around 14 km upstream, in Middleton - One Row, I then ran back home over the road (which is only about 9 km), had dinner and went out to walk the Teesdale Way, following the river bank.

It was just before 11pm when I finally reached the car in Middleton.
